Job summary

H&K Equipment in Pittsburgh-area seeks a Shop Rebuild Mechanic with heavy equipment experience to join our Coraopolis, PA shop. You will complete remanufacture and rebuild of material handling equipment with limited supervision and must bring your own tools.

Responsibilities include teardown of heavy lift equipment, rebuilding components, fabricating from frame up, and wiring harness work. Strong hydraulic/diesel and electrical skills required.

Qualifications

• Hydraulic and diesel experience necessary.
• Strong electrical aptitude necessary.
• Electrical / hydraulic schematic reading is necessary.
• Test equipment after assembly to guarantee proper performance and compliance with the manufacturer's specifications.
• Prior mechanical and technical experience on large mobile equipment preferred.
• Attention to detail, planning skills, and organization necessary.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical exam, and background check.

We are seeking a Shop Rebuild Mechanic with heavy equipment experience to join our Pittsburgh area team for immediate hire to complete remanufacture various types of material handling equipment and forklifts at our shop in Coraopolis, PA. This position will require a candidate who can work with limited supervision and has the ability to think and operate independently. Must have your own tools.
