Cadillac of Lubbock, Texas, a Cavender Auto Family dealership, is currently seeking a talented Full-Time Automotive Shop Porter to join our growing family and help “Make Confidence Happen.”

We offer $15.00 hourly, medical/dental/vision and pet insurance, paid time off, parental leave, life insurance, and employee discounts on vehicles, service and parts. The role includes cleaning, maintenance tasks, and assisting technicians in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Competenze

• High School Diploma/GED is required
• Successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 100 lbs.

Mansioni

• Sweeps technician stalls, service department and body shop floors, showroom, halls and vending areas.
• Cleans all signs, posters, service signs, mirrors, fans and vending machines.
• Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing any debris as necessary.
• Empties and cleans all trash receptacles, inside and outside.
• Cleans oil storage tanks according to procedures.
• Drains and disposes of used oil filters properly.
• Removes any old scrap parts from shop after checking with parts manager.
• Assists technicians with oil and water spills and with emptying drain tubs.
• Understands and complies with OSHA Right-to-Know and other federal, state, and local regulations.
• Uses proper eye, hand and body protection when using products that require protection.
• Other tasks as assigned.
