Job summary

TikTok is offering a Category Manager Intern position in the TikTok Shop – Operations, Beauty, Food & Beverage category for Summer 2027 in Los Angeles. This internship provides hands-on experience in merchant acquisition and category growth within a leading global platform.

You will work with cross-functional teams, develop strategic collaborations, and gain exposure to products, promotions, and merchant partnerships while pursuing a Bachelor's degree and possibly a Master's.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree.
• Able to commit to 12 weeks during Summer 2027.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and incubate merchants to support category growth.
• Discover collaborative models aligning with merchants' development plans; invest platform resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve growth challenges.
• Provide strategic content, creator/affiliate/agency partner solutions to clients.
• Update clients on TikTok Shop product developments and new promotional opportunities.
