Job summary

Texas Pipe And Supply Company in Travelers Rest, SC is seeking an entry-level CNC/machinist to set up and operate CNC/NC lathes and semi-automatic machines in a manufacturing environment.

You will study blueprints, measure with calipers, micrometers, verify tolerances, and work with minimal supervision while following safety policies. Training of new employees is included and other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is normally required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 50 pounds. Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; safety eyeglasses, hearing protectors, steel toed work boots, and gloves.
