Pape’ Machinery is seeking a Shop Mechanic to service agriculture equipment in the shop, performing repairs across makes and models to maximize uptime for customers.

You will diagnose faults, repair engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems, and assist with pre-delivery setup on John Deere equipment and allied products. Training and growth opportunities are emphasized within a supportive, career-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of working knowledge of small engines and agricultural equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, and air conditioning systems.

Responsibilities

• Work on all makes/models of agriculture equipment in the shop, ensuring repairs are done accurately and timely.
• Analyze and diagnose malfunctions or failures, then repair, replace or rebuild components (engines, transmissions, carburetors, hydraulics, electrical and air systems).
• Assist with pre-delivery setup and installation on John Deere equipment and allied products.
