Job summary

Pape’ Machinery is seeking a Shop Mechanic to service a range of agriculture equipment in our Merrill, Oregon shop. You’ll diagnose malfunctions, repair engines and hydraulics, and help with pre-delivery setup on John Deere machines.

We value team collaboration, self-motivation, and the ability to use basic computer tools to support repairs. Tools required by the applicant are the applicant's own.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with small engines and ag equipment.
• Experience diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and AC systems.
• Ability to work in a team, with minimal supervision and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair agriculture equipment in the shop.
• Repair, replace or rebuild engines, transmissions, and hydraulic components.
• Assist with pre-delivery setup and installation on John Deere equipment.
• Work with a team of mechanics to maximize uptime for customers.
• Utilize provided resources to perform top-quality maintenance and repairs.
