Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking an experienced Shop Mechanic to join our Pasadena, TX team. The role focuses on repairing diesel and heavy equipment, with responsibilities spanning electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical maintenance, plus troubleshooting and preventive work.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of diesel/heavy equipment repair experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a TWIC card with a valid driver’s license. Per diem/relocation not offered; Houston metro residency preferred.

• 5+ years of experience with diesel/heavy equipment repair
• High school diploma or GED required; advanced training a plus
• TWIC card and valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines
• Determine parts and tools necessary to complete repairs
• Complete shop paperwork
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
