Job summary

Frontier Environmental Services is seeking skilled Shop Mechanics to keep our fleet running at its best. You’ll perform repairs, diagnostics, and PM services on heavy trucks, trailers, and construction equipment in a modern, well-equipped shop.

Indoor/outdoor shop work in all weather; lifting 50+ lbs and exposure to noise, dust, and fumes are expected. Frontier serves energy-sector operations with a strong safety culture and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; experience may substitute
• 2+ years mechanic experience with heavy trucks or construction equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• Own tools suitable for heavy equipment work
• Welding experience is a plus
• Ability to pass DOT drug test and criminal background check
• Ability to perform heavy physical tasks (lifting 50+ lbs, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fuel systems
• Perform PM work on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
• Complete accurate service logs and repair documentation
• Keep the shop clean, safe, and well-organized
• Support general shop and facility maintenance
