Job summary

Frontier Environmental Services is seeking skilled Shop Mechanics to keep our fleet running at its best. You’ll perform repairs, diagnostics, and PM services on heavy trucks, trailers, and construction equipment in a modern, well-equipped shop.

Indoor/outdoor shop work in all weather with lifting and physical tasks. Frontier Environmental Services has long served energy operations in PA, WV, and OH, offering reliable benefits and a professional, safe workplace.

Qualifications

• 2+ years mechanic experience with heavy trucks or construction equipment.
• HS diploma/GED; experience may substitute for formal education.
• Valid driver’s license and your own tools suitable for heavy equipment work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fuel systems.
• Perform PM work on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Complete accurate service logs and repair documentation.
• Keep the shop clean, safe, and well-organized.
• Support general shop and facility maintenance.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and fuel systems
• Perform PM work on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
• Complete accurate service logs and repair documentation
• Keep the shop clean, safe, and well-organized
• Support general shop and facility maintenance

What You Need

• HS diploma/GED (experience may substitute)
• 2+ years mechanic experience with heavy trucks or construction equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• Your own tools suitable for heavy equipment work
• Welding experience is a plus
• Ability to pass DOT drug test & criminal background check
• Ability to perform heavy physical tasks (lifting 50+ lbs, climbing, kneeling, etc.)

Indoor/outdoor shop work in all weather. Regular lifting (50+ lbs.), bending, kneeling, climbing, and exposure to noise, dust, and fumes.
