You will perform routine upkeep, inspect engines, batteries, hydraulics, and electrical systems, and support the supervisor to meet safety and operational standards. The role requires high school diploma and tool ownership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ownership of hand and air/electric tools to perform repairs.
• Ability to drive and operate multiple types of vehicles and equipment.
• Willingness to learn electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on Herc-owned fleet.
• Oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication.
• Inspect and service batteries, hoses, and fluids.
• Test equipment operation and ensure safety standards.
• Enter work orders and maintain repair logs.
• Collaborate with supervisor to ensure machine performance meets safety and operational standards.
