Job Summary
We are looking for a shop mechanic to join our maintenance team in Phoenix, AZ. This is not a basic entry level position. The Shop Mechanic will have a very good understanding of 12-volt and 120-volt electrical systems, including generators, wiring truck bed lighting, external fuel pumps, 12v off-road lighting, and relays. The ideal Shop Mechanic will have a tool cart and a moderate number of tools, and experience with DOT inspections or a general understanding of the inspection process. Tuesday – Saturday 5am – 1:30pm (summer hours)
Tuesday – Saturday 7am – 3:30pm (cooler months)
Overtime is common and sometimes required. Notice of OT is given as far in advance as possible.
Outside environment, can be dusty, dirty and/or muddy depending on weather.
Compensation will be $25 – $30 DOE
