Job summary

Curtis Contracting, Inc. is seeking a skilled fleet technician to inspect and service company vehicles and heavy equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform mechanical adjustments, and replace parts using electronic testing equipment.

This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. CDL with air brake is a plus but not required; overtime may be needed as business demands.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing services using electronic testing equipment.
• Perform minor repairs on electrical components, power windows, mirrors, door locks, etc.
• Conduct routine maintenance on fleet vehicles and trucks (brakes, fuel pumps, alternators, A/C, oil changes, tires, batteries).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose services with electronic testing equipment.
• Perform minor repairs on electrical components and related systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on fleet vehicles and trucks.
• Ensure repair orders are accurately completed with current parts.
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Perform inspections and mechanical adjustments, diagnose, repairs and parts replacements for company fleet vehicles and heavy equipment

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose services through proficient use of electronic testing equipment
• Perform minor repairs (i.e. electrical components, power windows, power, mirrors, door locks, etc.)
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance on company vehicles, fleet trucks ( i.e. mechanical work on brakes, fuel pumps, alternators, air conditioning, oil changes, tire balancing and rotation, replacing batteries, etc.)
• Ensure repair orders are completed accurately including use of current parts and manufacturer updates and changes of vehicle requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned b manager or supervisor
• Overtime (more than 40 hours per week) may be required at times as business needs dictate

Education & Special Knowledge

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Driver's license and safe driving record required
• CDL license with air brake certification is a plus but not required
