Job summary

4-Horn Industrial in Hutto, TX, is seeking a Shop Mechanic to support the branch and client by maintaining and repairing all rental equipment, ensuring work is accurate, timely, and of high quality.

The role also involves inspecting equipment for safe operation before delivery, troubleshooting to get units back online quickly, coordinating with parts and other departments, and producing complete service tickets. The job requires 2 years’ experience and the ability to lift 50+ lbs in all weather.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience as a mechanic is required (Rental equipment experience a plus).
• Must be mechanically inclined with mechanical background and knowledge of various motors and engines.
• Must be able to work independently, and in a team environment, to prioritize and accomplish assigned projects
• Must be able to stand, sit, and kneel for long periods of time in all weather conditions
• Must be able to frequently lift 50+ lbs.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Shop Mechanic position supports the branch, and client, in all maintenance and repair of industrial equipment needs. This position ensures that all rental equipment maintenance and repair needs of the branch is conducted in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner.
