Job summary

McGeorge Contracting Co., Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform a full range of maintenance, repair and service on heavy equipment.

You will troubleshoot malfunctions and ensure safe, efficient operation on site, with a focus on productivity in varying conditions. The role requires endurance to work at least 50 hours per week, manual dexterity and willingness to operate outside in extreme weather.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years heavy equipment mechanic experience.
• Must have hand tools.
• Must pass a DOT Physical.
• Willing and able to work 50 hours per week minimum.
• Able to walk/stand for long periods.
• Able to lift items as heavy as 50 pounds.
• Must work outside in extreme weather conditions.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Job description

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic the employee performs a full range of maintenance, repair and service activities on heavy equipment. Troubleshoots malfunctions in the equipment and repair. Basic Qualifications
