Job Overview

The Concession Shop Manager partners with the Business Selling Manager, supporting the growth of top line sales and delivering a superior customer experience. Through an inspirational style, strong interpersonal skills and solid business acumen, the Concession Shop Manager models the selling journey to inspire the team to bring the Bloomingdale's mission to life. A successful Bloomingdale's Concession Shop Manager possesses an inherent passion for people. A Luxury Concession Shop Manager supports a single vendor, accountable for the achievement of personal sales, while driving the overall vendor sales goals across all product lines. In today's retail environment, our leaders are flexible and agile supporting sales results, merchandising and visual standards and ensuring shop's operational functions are completed efficiently.

Essential Functions

• Observe, coach and role model customer-centric selling behaviors
• Require and champion use of selling technology to support a seamless customer experience
• Responsible for technical knowledge of all vendor products, product training / education for other Bloomingdales Associates, and product feedback to the vendor and BLM Merchants
• Actively support total concession shop and store priorities and establish self as available and engaged
• Lead the operational functions of the concession shop including merchandising, logistics, visual directives, shipments, transfers, inventory accuracy and stockroom maintenance.
• Develop partnerships with Personal Shopping/Top Associates and other Store Associates to promote the brand and increase cross-selling
  
  

Qualifications And Competencies

• Associate's Degree and 3-5 years direct experience required.
• 3-5 years related experience.
  
  

Essential Physical Requirements

• Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department.
• May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping and color vision.
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions.
• Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs.
• Reliable, able to work retail/store hours.
