Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change in Lenoir, NC is seeking an energetic Shop Manager to lead a busy service center. You will oversee daily operations, coach your team, and drive performance across key metrics such as oil changes, sales, and customer satisfaction.

This role requires hands-on leadership as a working manager, with a schedule around 50 hours per week. You will recruit and train staff, manage inventory and cash handling, and uphold safety and company standards to deliver fast,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Background check required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Willingness to work ~50 hours per week.
• Basic computer skills or the ability to learn company systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing service center team.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and train team members.
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support employee development.
• Foster a positive team environment aligned with the Strickland Brothers Way.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and maintain strong customer satisfaction ratings.
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
• Monitor customer feedback and coach the team to continuously improve service quality.
• Oversee daily shop operations including opening and closing procedures.
• Manage workflow by assigning technician roles and maintaining efficient service flow.
• Ensure the shop remains clean, safe, and organized at all times.
• Drive shop performance by monitoring key metrics such as service volume, sales, labor efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Create weekly schedules and manage labor to support operational needs.
• Partner with the Area Manager to review performance and set shop goals.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and complete inventory counts.
• Manage cash handling procedures including daily deposits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
