Job Description

ServiceMaster BioClean is hiring a Shop Manager in West Hartford, CT.

Hourly Rate: $40.00-44.00

Requirements include a valid driver's license and a clean driving history. We offer a structured interview process with the possibility of quick hiring. Compensation: Hybrid pay structure based on work performed, including a fixed administrative rate of $19.35/hour.

Hours: Full-time, approximately 30 hours/week, with hours dependent on job volume and availability.

Responsibilities

Field Work:

  • Supervise and participate in biohazard remediation projects.
  • Communicate and sell scope of work, obtain client approval.
  • Manage customer interactions professionally, ensuring satisfaction.

Shop Management:

  • Coordinate appointments and resources.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop and truck.
  • Conduct shop walkthroughs and manage supplies and equipment.

Personnel Management:

  • Train and develop team members.
  • Conduct coaching sessions and review timecards.
  • Handle corrective actions collaboratively.

Business Management:

  • Analyze P&L statements.
  • Manage client relationships and generate new business opportunities.
Experience and Skills

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
  • Local resident able to respond within one hour.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience, preferably in related fields.
  • Leadership skills and organizational proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IICRC S540 certification or similar.
  • Experience in project management, customer service, and community engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
