Job Description

ServiceMaster BioClean is hiring a Shop Manager for our Fayetteville shop. This role involves leading our team in biohazard mitigation projects, combining administrative duties with active participation in fieldwork. Prior experience in related industries is a plus but not mandatory, as comprehensive training is provided.

Compensation: Hybrid pay structure including a fixed administrative rate of $18/hour and additional earnings based on work performed.

Hours: Full-time, approximately 30 hours/week, with hours based on job availability.

Key Responsibilities
Field Work
  • Supervise and participate in biohazard remediation projects.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, understand their needs, and obtain approval to proceed.
  • Manage customer interactions professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Resolve customer complaints with integrity and focus on resolution.
Shop Management
  • Coordinate resources and personnel for scheduled appointments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and vehicles.
  • Conduct shop walkthroughs to ensure standards.
  • Manage inventory and supplies.
  • Ensure technology and equipment are functional.
  • Record expenses accurately.
Personnel Management
  • Train and develop team members in safety and technical skills.
  • Coach team members and conduct performance meetings.
  • Review and approve timecards.
  • Address performance issues and implement corrective actions.
Business Management
  • Analyze financial statements (P&L).
  • Manage client relationships and follow-ups.
  • Generate and manage new business leads.
Experience and Skills

Working Conditions:

  • Lift up to 50 lbs and handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Occasional overnight travel with company-provided accommodations.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be 18+, hold a valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
  • Reside locally and respond within one hour.
  • At least 2 years supervisory experience, preferably in related fields.
  • Leadership qualities and organizational skills.
  • Completion of relevant training paths within specified timeframes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IICRC S540 certification or similar.
  • Experience in project management, team leadership, and customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
  • Backgrounds such as EMT, Nursing, Restoration, etc., are valued.
