Autobody Shop Manager – Organization: G Town Auto Body – Location: Belton, MO – Employment Type: FULL TIME

Position Summary: The Autobody Shop Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of G Town Auto Body, ensuring efficient workflow, quality control, customer satisfaction, and team performance. This role requires a hands‑on leader with a strong understanding of the auto body and collision repair industry who can manage both the operational and customer-facing sides of the shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop operations including scheduling, workflow management, and production output
• Manage and lead a team of technicians, estimators, and support staff
• Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and are completed on time and within estimate
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communication, updates, and conflict resolution
• Coordinate with insurance adjusters and handle supplement requests as needed
• Monitor shop performance metrics including cycle time, labor efficiency, and customer satisfaction scores
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and shop policies
• Manage parts ordering, vendor relationships, and inventory control
• Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management of shop staff
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase shop profitability

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in auto body, collision repair, or shop management
• Strong knowledge of collision repair processes, estimating, and industry standards
• Experience with estimating software such as CCC ONE preferred
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage daily operational demands

• Relevant certification or equivalent preferred
