Job summary

James Fisher Technologies LLC in Loveland, CO is seeking a Shop Laborer to support welders, machinists, fabricators and inspectors in a busy fabrication shop. You will operate forklifts and shop equipment, move parts, and prepare components for downstream processes while upholding safety standards.

This role requires basic computer skills, reading simple drawings, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fabrication shop tooling & processes.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel MS Word, MS Outlook).
• Detail oriented with good written & verbal communication skills.
• Able to read and interpret simple drawings.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• This position may require pre-employment drug screening and will be subject to the JFT Drug & Alcohol Policy.
• Must be able to pass OSHA Safety Training.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, grinders, saws and other shop equipment.
• Drive the company truck, courier parts and tow trailers.
• Kit components for downstream processes.
• Housekeeping and general maintenance.
• Verify receipt of items compared to purchase orders.
• Attend pre-job briefs and ensure jobs and tasks are completed on time.
• Perform duties and tasks in compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean shop and manage PPE supplies.
