Job summary

Key Technology in Washington state is seeking a Shop Helper to ensure parts are available, move materials between workstations, and assist welders. This role requires independence and teamwork to meet production and quality goals.

Responsibilities emphasize safety, following supervisor instructions, loading jobs, obtaining forklift and overhead crane certifications, and maintaining calibration and workflow. The company offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Three to six months related experience and/or training.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blue prints; write routine correspondence; speak effectively with employees.

Responsibilities

• At all times safety is a top priority while performing any part of your job.
• Execute instructions given by department Supervisor and/or Lead.
• Observes operation of machines to develop understanding.
• Assist supervisor/lead by loading jobs to the specified location.
• Establish a cordial and professional relationship with fellow employees.
• Assist other employees with day-to-day tasks as needed.
• Understand and follow the proper workflow of assigned jobs.
• Transport completed work to the next department.
• Obtain and maintain forklift certification.
• Obtain and maintain overhead crane certification.
• Complete monthly tool calibration as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
