Job summary

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Shop Helper for a full-service metal treating facility in Tualatin, OR. The 40-hour work week offers room for growth, with a starting wage of $20–$21 per hour.

You will train across roles in the shop, support loading/unloading and shipping tasks, and help keep the facility clean and safe. Ideal candidates are physically capable of lifting 20–50 lb, have basic forklift experience, and possess attention to detail with good attendance and a positive

• Must have basic forklift experience and be able to operate related equipment.
• Physically able to lift 20–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Attentive, detail-oriented, with good attendance and a positive attitude.
• Some data entry and order form organization skills are needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with training in various shop roles.
• Transport parts to staging area using forklifts/hoists/pallet jacks.
• Load/unload, wash, and stack parts for heat treatment.
• Unpack/pack finished parts for shipping.
• Assist with shipping/receiving duties.
• Operate equipment to clean parts.
• Report problems to supervisor.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area.
• Assist furnace/machine operators as needed.
