Job summary

AA Asphalting in Sumner, WA is seeking a Shop Help to assist mechanics in the repair and maintenance of trucks, machinery and equipment. Responsibilities include cleaning disassembled parts, obtaining parts from vendors, organizing the shop, and supporting mechanics. Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and must be insurable by the Company's vehicle insurance.
• Physical demands require lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently.

We are looking for someone in the Shop Help position. The Shop Help position will assist mechanics in the repair and maintenance of trucks, machinery and equipment by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Cleans disassembled parts and equipment.
• Obtains parts from various vendors and shop inventory, as needed.
• Completes daily task list to include cleaning and organizing of shop parts, supplies, tools, equipment.
• Provides assistance to Mechanics and other employees, as needed.
• Complies with and follows all safety regulations.
