Job summary

USA Industries, LLC, located in South Houston, TX, is seeking a Shop Help to support packaging and material handling on the production floor. The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality as part of a collaborative team environment.

You will work closely with operations to move raw materials, in-process parts, and finished goods, following work instructions to meet daily production targets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and follow basic work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes is helpful.
• Familiarity with shop safety practices is desired.
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Handle, move, and organize raw materials, in-process parts, and finished goods throughout the facility
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company safety standards
• Follow work instructions and support production processes to meet quality and output goals
• Assist other departments as needed to support overall production and operational efficiency
• Perform additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• High School diploma or GED.

Work Experience

• Experience in industrial manufacturing and preferred.

Skills

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment preferred
• Shipping and receiving experience are a plus
• Ability to read basic work instructions and follow directions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with shop safety practices
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50lbs (+) regularly
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a hot, and/or dusty environment, with noisy conditions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
