Job summary

Silvertip Completion Services seeks a versatile shop assistant to support loading/unloading, cleaning, and equipment maintenance. You may operate forklifts and assist with parts delivery, with regular exposure to outdoor conditions.

The role requires basic hand/power tool proficiency, a valid driver's license, and physical stamina. Weekend/on-call availability and a clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a shop or field environment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to work weekends and on-call shifts.
• Must pass pre-employment screening and job-relevant checks.
• Must be 21 years or older and have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading of supplies & equipment.
• Assist in cleaning shop area and yard.
• Install and maintain equipment – painting, repairing, cleaning, testing.
• Deliver and pick up parts; may pull a trailer.
• Operate forklifts, pressure washers, test pumps, and other shop equipment.
• Adhere to all safety policies and recognize hazards.
• Support and assist other employees in the shop.

• Installs and maintains equipment – painting, repairing, cleaning, testing
• May deliver and pick-up parts which could include pulling a trailer
• May be required to operate forklifts, pressure washers, test pumps, and other shop equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Know, understand, and observe ALL company safety policies, and best practices.
• Ability to recognize and manage hazards.
• Ability to demonstrate safe work habits.
• Willing to offer support and assistance to other employees in the shop. Minimum 2 years’ experience

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, twist, squat, crawl and walk; may have long periods of standing or sitting.

• Must have flexibility to work any schedule based on business needs, including weekends, and be on a “on –call” rotation.
• Must pass pre-employment screening, testing and job-relevant hiring requirements.
• You MUST BE 21 or OLDER
• Must have a clean driving record
• Housing not available

Work Environment/Physical Demands

Primary work environment is in the shop. Exposure to possible shop hazards considered typical in an industrial environment. Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs. Standing 80% of the time, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, hammering, and heavy lifting, pushing and pulling while handling material.
