Reporting to: Shop Foreman

Essential Job Functions:

1. Load, unload, and stack materials, equipment, and tools
2. Use small and medium hand/power tools to complete various tasks
3. Clean and prepare construction sites
4. Follow instructions from supervisors and implement construction plans
5. Keep the work area clean and free of debris, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment
6. Provide support to skilled tradespeople, including carrying tools, holding materials, or assisting with specific tasks
7. Maintain a high level of quality work at all times
8. Maintain good relationships with Technicians, Foreman, Superintendents, Inspectors, Developers, and other co-workers at all times
9. Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work tasks
10. Perform other duties as assigned
11. Represent and promote Grayson Carter and Son in a professional and honest manner

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

1. 1+ year experience as a shop general laborer
2. Ability to communicate and convey information effectively
3. Must be physically able to stand, walk, sit, crouch, kneel, climb, and periodically lift 75 pounds
4. Knowledge of OSHA Standards
5. Ability to obtain Arsenal Badge preferred, but not required
6. Ability to obtain FBI Badge preferred, but not required
7. Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on all job sites as required
8. Work weekends and overtime as needed
9. Committed to attending work each day
10. Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
