Job summary

Fisher Industries is a vertically integrated company providing heavy civil construction and aggregate products across the United States. The Shop General Laborer role is safety sensitive and focuses on general labor duties in the shop, including loading, delivery, site prep, and operating a range of shop equipment.

Responsibilities include supporting a safety-focused crew, assisting with fabrication materials, and performing tasks as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Acceptable MVR per Fisher's policy.
• S.H.A. certification 46 or 48 or willingness to obtain (company pays).
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Ability to work under extreme weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Extended out-of-town travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all shop duties including loading, delivery, and removal of materials and crusher parts.
• Work as part of a safety-focused crew to prepare projects.
• Assist in all manual labor tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Operate shop equipment and forklifts where needed.
• Perform equipment maintenance duties as required.
• Help place fabrication materials, parts, and prep work with the team.
• Load and unload equipment, parts, and warehouse materials.
