Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Shop Foreman to supervise employees in repairing and maintaining rental equipment. You will coordinate the Service Department workload for efficiency and accuracy, and guide technician skills and training needs while upholding company values.

Qualifications

• Trade school or college degree preferred.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of mechanical experience in rental industry or similar.
• Proven customer relations and communications skills.
• Basic computer understanding to enter data into a terminal or PC.
• Knowledge of methods, materials and tools to repair and maintain rental equipment.
• Proven safety record.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, assist and train service technicians in best practices of equipment repair and safety.
• Perform inspections of completed repairs to ensure quality of work.
• Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations and decrease turnaround times.
• Work with other areas to provide quality, seamless customer service.
• Direct service technicians and yard staff in daily operations.
• Schedule service and maintenance of equipment in the workshop or at customer sites.
• Monitor repairs and allocate to correct customer accounts or profit centers.
• Assist Profit Center Manager in training, planning and directing work.
• Other duties assigned by manager.
