Job summary

Triple Cities Metal Finishing is hiring a Quality Process Control Technician to ensure quality, safety, and productivity on the shop floor. You will work hands-on with leadership and teams across quality, sales, and production to implement improvements.

The role includes monitoring production data, performing quality reviews, and maintaining QA documentation, with a clear path for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Hands-on experience in metal finishing or related industrial environment preferred.
• Proven quality control or quality inspection experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with standards and procedures in production processes.
• Support new production processes and assist with improving existing ones with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor production data, identify trends, root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve product quality.
• Verify pricing to ensure it matches quotes and input pricing into ERP system.
• Conduct quality reviews for all orders and maintain QA documentation and records.
• Build customer and process specifications into the system and adjust steps to match shop floor processes.
• Assist with planning parts not set up on auto-plan and verify new parts.
• Apply quality standards to minimize day-to-day process variation on the floor.
• Perform internal audits and communicate with sales and quality teams.
