Memco Inc in Wisconsin is seeking a Shop Floor Manager to lead daily shop operations for a diversified industrial machining facility. You will drive throughput, mentor teams, and oversee large-scale components up to 40 feet long, while promoting safety, quality, and efficiency on a 4-day workweek with overtime options.

The role requires a strong hands-on machining background, leadership of shop personnel, and experience with Fanuc controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience.
• Extensive background as a machinist running and setting up diverse shop machinery.
• Experience with large-scale parts up to 40 feet in length.
• Experience running Fanuc Controls.
• Demonstrated leadership managing machine shop personnel and daily operations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and deep operational knowledge of machining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily machine shop floor operations to maximize throughput and achieve monthly production targets.
• Guide shop personnel in machine setup, troubleshooting, and optimal run times for complex industrial parts.
• Manage workflow and staging for large-scale components reaching up to 40 feet in length.
• Utilize your extensive hands-on machining background to solve technical machining bottlenecks in real time.
• Promote high standards of safety, quality control, and precision across all machining processes.
• Optimize production schedules to offer voluntary Friday overtime while maintaining target output.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive annual salary range of $120,000 - $150,000.
