Equiliem is seeking responsible Material Handlers / Shop Floor Helpers in Somerville, NJ. Starting pay is $17/hr with rapid progression into the $20s within 30–45 days. Training schedule begins 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, then shifts to 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.

No experience required; full training provided with clear paths to higher skilled roles in production and logistics. Role involves moving materials, assisting machines, preparing products for shipment, and maintaining a safe, organized shop floor.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse, manufacturing, or construction experience helpful but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
• Safety oriented and reliable, with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist with handling, staging, and moving raw materials and finished sheet metal.
• Package sheet metal products according to customer and quality standards.
• Build and prepare wooden skids and pallets for shipments.
• Load and unload trucks safely.
• Support machine operators to maintain workflow and production levels.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain inventory accuracy for raw materials and finished goods; follow all safety procedures.
• Keep the shop floor clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform general warehouse and production support tasks as needed.
