Job summary

Ironsmith Fire, LLC in Memphis, TN is seeking a Shop Fabricator to support fabrication and warehouse operations, fabricating and preparing sprinkler components, organizing inventory, and handling deliveries with a strong safety mindset. The successful candidate will operate pipe threaders and saws, follow detailed instructions, and maintain a clean, organized shop.

High school diploma required; warehouse/fabrication experience preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and tools to fabricate and prepare fire sprinkler components.
• Follow fabrication instructions and drawings for accurate production.
• Organize and maintain the fabrication shop and warehouse.
• Document inventory transactions and process returns to stock.
• Load and unload material deliveries and ensure safe handling.
• Deliver parts and materials to job sites and pick up from vendors.
• Coordinate with teams and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Inspect equipment and report safety issues.
• Participate in daily shop and yard clean-up for safety and productivity.
• Support the Shop Foreman in optimizing shop and fabrication efficiency.
• Engage in ongoing learning to improve fabrication and material handling skills.
