Job summary

DAVRON, LLC is seeking a Shop / Fabrication Manager in Greenville, SC to take single‑point accountability for daily production execution, workforce performance, and continuous improvement across fabrication operations.

You will lead shop supervisors, fabricators, welders and operators, develop schedules, and ensure safety and quality to meet project delivery dates. This role emphasizes cost control, productivity, and operational excellence on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in fabrication or related shop environment with supervisory/management experience
• Lead, coach and develop shop personnel including fabricators, welders and operators
• Develop and maintain short-term and look-ahead fabrication schedules
• Drive safety compliance and quality according to drawings, specs and customer requirements

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day fabrication shop operations and workforce coordination
• Lead, coach and develop shop supervisors and crew
• Develop short-term and look-ahead schedules aligned with project priorities
• Ensure fabrication meets drawings, specs, codes and welding procedures
• Coordinate equipment, facility management, maintenance and utilization
• Monitor labor productivity, hours, overtime, rework, scrap and throughput

This Shop / Fabrication Manager opportunity gives you the single point of accountability to shape daily production execution, workforce performance, and continuous improvement across the fabrication floor.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Shop / Fabrication Manager position include:

• Five or more years of experience in fabrication, manufacturing, industrial construction, mechanical contracting, or a related shop environment, plus five or more years of supervisory or management experience.
• Lead, coach, and develop shop supervisors, leads, fabricators, welders, machine operators, and support employees.
• Maintain ownership of day‑to‑day fabrication shop operations, workforce coordination, workflow, and production execution.
• Develop and maintain short‑term and look‑ahead fabrication schedules aligned with project priorities and required delivery dates.
• Ensure shop safety performance and visible compliance with company safety policies and applicable requirements.
• Drive quality by ensuring fabrication complies with approved drawings, specifications, codes, welding procedures, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate fabrication equipment and facility management, including safe operation, preventive maintenance, and utilization.
• Monitor labor productivity, earned versus spent hours, overtime, rework, scrap, throughput, and equipment utilization to support cost control and continuous improvement.

Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
