L&M Fleet Supply in Grand Rapids, MN 55744 is seeking a Shop Department Head for our Grand Rapids Store. This full-time role focuses on managing shop operations, merchandising, and delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the sales floor and repair services.

The ideal candidate has a shop background with experience in automotive or small engine repair, and can handle varied shifts, including every other weekend.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in a shop environment.
• Knowledge of automotive or small engine repairs, retail sales and customer service preferred.
• Schedule flexibility is required (varied shifts, every other weekend).

We are looking for someone who loves to merchandise various products, loves to communicate with customers & likes to have fun at work, while getting things done. 6 months of experience in a shop environment and/or knowledge of automotive/small engine repairs, retail sales & customer service is preferred.

Job Type: Full-Time Hours

Schedule: Flexible Work Schedule, Varied Shift Times, Every Other Weekend Rotation

Targeted Pay Range: $17.25-21 per hour.

(Starting rate of pay varies based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.)

What you'll do in this role:

Our Shop Department Head is responsible for supporting both shop operations and sales floor activities including performing product replenishment, merchandising, customer service, inventory accuracy, and assisting with repair and maintenance services. This position will also ensure that shop tasks are completed safely and efficiently, customers receive high-quality service, and any other duties as assigned by management. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a shop environment.
