Job summary

Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a leading fabrication manufacturer in the Poseyville, IN area, seeks experienced Shop Coatings General Labor for a long-term contract.

Supports coating and production operations through material handling, surface preparation, and finishing tasks while maintaining a safe, efficient workplace. Begin on 3rd shift (9:00 PM–6:30 AM, Sunday–Thursday) and transitions to 1st shift in late December.

Qualifications

• Experience in general labor, manufacturing, or industrial coating environments.
• Able to lift 50-55 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willing to learn coating, sandblasting, painting, and material handling.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist material handling and surface preparation.
• Operate sandblaster or powder coating equipment a plus.
• Maintain safe, clean, organized work area.

Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a leading fabrication manufacturer in the Poseyville, IN area, is seeking experienced Shop Coatings General Labor for long term contract position.

Job Summary

Supports coating and production operations through material handling, surface preparation, and finishing tasks while maintaining a safe, efficient workplace.

Shift

Begin on 3rd shift (9:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Sunday–Thursday) and transitions to 1st shift in late December.

Pay Rate

$20.00/hour

Our ideal candidate

• Experience in general labor, manufacturing, orindustrial coating environments preferred
• Able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, standing, bending, and moving materials throughout the shift
• Comfortable using hand and power tools and working around industrial equipment
• Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, attendance, and teamwork
• Able to follow instructions, work efficiently, and maintain quality standards
• Willing to learn coating, sandblasting, painting, and material handling processes
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Position Requires

• Experience with operating sandblaster and powder coating equipment a plus.
• Ability to perform general labor tasks in a physically demanding, hands-on work environment.
• Experienced forklift operator with recent experience.
• Ability to lift 50 - 55 pounds as required without assistance
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and move materials safely.
• Willingness to work around industrial coatings, blasting equipment, and painting operations.
• Willingness to learn and assist in multiple areas of shop coatings operations.
