Job summary

FabLogix in Duncan, SC is seeking an experienced Mechanical Skid Millwright to support assembly, installation, alignment, and mechanical completion of skid packages and piping systems. Qualifications

• Experience as millwright or in skid/pipe assembly or industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, blueprints, and basic project specs.
• Experience with measuring tools and alignment equipment (laser, dial indicators).
• Knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, flanges, and pipe supports.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and work safely in a fabrication shop.

Responsibilities

• Assemble skid packages per drawings and project specs.
• Install, align, and secure pumps, motors, valves, and pipe spools.
• Read blueprints, P&IDs, isometrics, and equipment layouts.
• Perform layout, measuring, leveling, and alignment of equipment.
• Safely use hand and power tools and rigging equipment.
• Assist with equipment setting, bolting, torqueing, and adjustments.
• Collaborate with fitters, welders, QA, and project teams.
• Inspect workmanship for fit, alignment, clearance and quality.
• Report material issues or safety concerns to supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow safety policies and PPE requirements.
