Position Overview

Help keep our Shop running smoothly! The Shop Assistant supports daily shop operations while also playing a key role in inventory control, organization, shipping and receiving, and building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and manage inventory of materials and parts
• Handle shipping and receiving of materials, tools, and equipment
• Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe work environment
• Perform basic facility maintenance and upkeep
• Support local deliveries and pickups for the service department using company vehicles
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely and accurate deliveries and material handling
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe workplace

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience in construction, metalworking, or a related field preferred
• Minimum Age: Must be at least 18 years old
• Education: High school diploma or GED required
• Physical Requirements: Must be capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Pre-Employment: Must pass a drug screening & motor vehicle check

Schedule

• Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Paid overtime may be required depending on workload
