As a Shop Apprentice, you will be an integral part of our team, assisting skilled technicians and gaining hands-on experience in the shop environment. This role reports directly to the Shop Supervisor and focuses on developing your core skills in basic tool usage and maintenance. You will also have the opportunity to enhance your premium skills in problem-solving and teamwork. Your relevant skills, particularly in using an ohmmeter, will be essential as you learn to troubleshoot and support various projects. Roles and Responsibilities
  • Testing of incoming repairs on specialized testing equipment
  • Clean electro-mechanical equipment assemblies as needed using various methods and steps, including but not limited to parts washers/steamers
  • Balancing completed repairs on specialized testing equipment
  • Final painting and tagging of completed repairs
  • Sandblasting of parts
  • Work/Assist Experienced repair techs on repairs
  • Maintenance of all equipment in dirty room
  • Secondary back up driver for pick up or delivery of repairs
  • Lift, tighten, adjust and secure heavy objects to perform work duties
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be dependable and prompt
