PALFINGER is hiring a Shop Apprentice in Winter Garden, FL to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot a range of lifting equipment including cranes, forklifts, and trailers.

You will perform shop repairs, preventive maintenance, and service documentation while ensuring safety and quality standards in a dynamic, field-focused environment. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of mechanical experience and a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years of mechanical experience or training.
• Proficient in mechanical, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, and welding.
• Basic computer skills with Windows; able to work independently and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Perform shop repairs and troubleshooting on cranes, forklifts, and trailers.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections per schedules; warranty service.
• Communicate mechanical issues and needed repairs to the shop manager.
• Complete service documentation, including estimates and parts orders.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas in accordance with safety regulations.
