Job summary

Shoe Station in Durham, NC is seeking a friendly Store Associate to help customers find shoes, ring up sales, and maintain neat displays. You’ll assist with promotions and a fast-paced environment while delivering great customer service.

The role offers flexible part-time hours, on-the-job training, and Daily Pay options. Must be able to stand, lift up to 25 lbs, and work evenings or weekends if needed.

Qualifications

• Great communication and listening skills.
• Ability to count cash and perform basic math accurately.
• Comfortable working on your feet and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and offer help finding shoes and accessories.
• Operate the register: handle cash, give change, and process returns.
• Use basic math and counting skills for transactions.
• Share promotions and Shoe Perks program with customers.
• Keep displays neat, organized, and well-stocked.
• Support loss prevention and store cleanliness.
