Job summary

Fred Meyer in Sumner, WA seeks a Shoe Department Lead to manage all aspects of the department, including Profit & Loss responsibilities, seasonal sets, price integrity, and in-stock conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 6 months Fred Meyer experience and 1–2 years in retail.

• Ability to work weekends/nights on a regular basis, shifts, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the Shoe department to maintain in-stock conditions and price integrity.
• Coordinate merchandising, seasonal sets, and plan ads to standard.
• Maintain department cleanliness and recover/recoverable stock.
• Verify ads and promotions are set to standard and process mismates as directed.
• Perform inventory checks and stock management; handle cashier duties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and company policies and reflect 'Customer 1st' behavior.

Job description

Manage all aspects of the Shoe department which include Profit & Loss responsibilities, seasonal sets, on hand price integrity, and to maintain a clean, recovered, and in stock department. Demonstrate the Company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Minimum

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus a minimum of six months Fred Meyer experience and one-two years related retail experience; or combination of relevant education and experience.
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to pass drug test
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work weekends/nights on a regular basis, work any shift, and work overtime as needed
