Caleres, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate for Famous Footwear at Maine Crossing in South Portland. You will provide an engaging store experience, help customers find perfect shoes, and support daily store operations to keep the shop organized and profitable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within store.
• Strong communication with store associates at all levels.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Good working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory) are dialed in.
• Provide stellar customer engagement and memorable shopping experiences.
• Review store performance and drive sales with purpose and urgency.
• Uphold company policies and integrity in all actions.
• Support training and development for teammates as needed.
