Caleres, Inc. is hiring a Retail Sales Associate for Famous Footwear in Olathe, KS. You’ll handle daily store tasks such as pricing, shipments, inventory and ensuring the floor stays clean and organized, with a focus on helping customers find the perfect fit.

You’ll champion our culture by delivering top-notch service, engaging customers, and collaborating with the team to meet sales goals. A flexible schedule, strong communication, and basic retail knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships with store staff.
• Strong communication with associates at all levels.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with Store Sales Manager.
• Solid knowledge of retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipments, fulfillment and inventory) are dialed in.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and keep styles easily shoppable.
• Provide stellar customer engagement and drive sales with urgency to meet goals.
• Communicate clearly with the store team and share performance insights.
• Overtime hours may be required to meet business needs.
