Scheels in Minot, ND is seeking a motivated retail associate to support the shoe departments and stock operations. You will help move stock, assist customers, and keep the floor organized and welcoming.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends. Prior retail experience is helpful, and health and retirement benefits are available to eligible associates.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 months related retail/sales experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as part of the job.

Aufgaben

• Retrieve shoes from back stocks and transport to the staging area for sales associates.
• Process unpurchased items and customer returns to their correct locations while keeping inventory accurate.
• Assist in Men's, Women's, and Youth shoe departments as needed.
• Engage customers with a warm, welcoming demeanor and offer immediate assistance.
• Ensure all necessary technology and devices are prepped and functional prior to the start of each shift.
• Partner with Specialty Shop Managers to address urgent department needs.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to present information clearly to customers and team members.
• Work both independently and collaboratively across the organization.
• Perform basic calculations.
• Work assigned schedule, including varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by leadership.

Responsibilities:

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma, or general education degree (GED), preferred
• 1-3 months of related retail/sales experience, preferred

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
