Job summary

AFCO Performance Group in Sturgis, SD is seeking an entry-level Shock Technician/Production position to join our lean manufacturing team. You will be part of a cell-based production line creating high-quality suspensions for Harley Davidson products.

You’ll assemble, inspect, package and ship finished shocks and components, learn Lean processes, and contribute to a fast-paced, safety‑driven workplace that values continuous improvement. This is an entry-level role with growth potential.

Shock Technician/ Production Position

Job Description

• Assemble finished product.
• Package finished product.
• Ship finished product.
• Inspect product to ensure high quality.

Primary Responsibilities

• Be part of the Lean Process and Training
• Work in a cell / production line setting
• Produce front and rear suspension
• Produce Electrical Pumps and Components
• Operate hand tools and equipment
• Ensure quality control standards to ensure product meets specifications
• Package finished products
• Ship finished products
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Take instructions from supervisors
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Physical Demands / Requirements

• Show up every day and on time
• Attention to detail is an absolute must
• Working in a fast-paced environment
• Open minded to change and constant improvement
• Ability to work on your feet for most of the day
• Able to lift 50lbs
