Job Description
Summary: Perform in-process and final inspections of electro-mechanical assemblies, including mechanical assemblies, piping, brackets, wiring, lighting, boxes, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications: Must satisfactorily perform all essential duties. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in email, record keeping, and routine database activities.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; experience with calibration of inspection/test equipment; experience in an ISO 9001 environment.
Skills: Ability to read and understand instructions, write simple correspondence, and present information effectively.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic, compute percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve problems involving multiple variables.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Non-Destructive Testing Certification; Ultrasonic Testing Level II experience; UT certification preferred.
Physical Demands: Regular talking, hearing, standing, walking, sitting, handling, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds; specific vision abilities required.
Work Environment: Exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud noise, and extreme weather conditions; accommodations available for disabilities.
