Responsibilities include welding in various configurations using SMAW and FCAW processes, working closely with supervisors and pipe fitters to address design deficiencies, system breakdowns, and equipment malfunctions, as well as repairing valves, reach-rods, heat exchangers, and other mechanical systems aboard vessels.

**Must Have:**

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Two years of pipe welding experience
• Tools (employer does not provide)
• Pass a 6GR Pipe Welding Test (SMAW and FCAW)
• Follow ABS / USCG pipe welding and fitting requirements
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

**Preferred:** Shipyard experience.
