Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Pipe Supervisor to oversee pipe fabrication, installation, testing, and repair on vessels and in the shipyard. You will supervise pipe fitters, welders, and helpers to ensure safe, efficient work aligned with schedules and drawings.

Responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings, coordinating tests, enforcing safety programs, and maintaining accurate production reports. Strong leadership and cross-team communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of shipyard pipe fitting experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain access to government-controlled projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of pipe fitters, welders, and helpers.
• Plan and prioritize work to meet schedules and deadlines.
• Inspect piping systems for proper fabrication, installation, and testing.
• Coordinate hydrostatic, pneumatic, and operational tests.
• Maintain safety compliance per OSHA, ABS, and shipyard rules.
• Track labor hours and material usage; report status to management.
