Job summary

Serco is seeking a Shipyard Laborer to support U.S. Naval Ships at Mayport, FL.

You will perform general manual labor, fabricate and assemble electromechanical and electronic components, and help ensure safe operations aboard naval vessels and military installations. The role requires availability for second or third shifts and more than 40 hours per week, with the ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to work second or third shifts and 40+ hours per week.
• Able to pass background investigation and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform general manual labor including loading, unloading, lifting and moving supplies and materials.
• Assist as a fire watch, welder’s helper, and install electric cable when needed.
• Work under immediate supervision and follow directions.
