Ameri-Force is seeking a General Laborer for our shipyard operations in Seattle. The role involves assisting skilled workers, moving materials, and keeping work areas clean and safe. You will use basic tools and follow all PPE requirements to support daily shipbuilding activities.

The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a proactive safety mindset in varying weather conditions. Prior labor experience is helpful but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a laborer in industrial or maritime settings is helpful but not required.
• Physical stamina for diverse weather and heavy tasks.
• Basic understanding of tool and equipment safety.
• Strong communication and teamwork; takes direction well.
• Proactive and safety-minded approach to tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled workers by performing supportive tasks as directed.
• Handle and transport materials and equipment within the shipyard.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and tools.
• Operate basic hand and power tools with safety precautions.
• Collaborate with team to complete daily tasks safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
• Assist in loading/unloading materials and report discrepancies.
